IainMcNulty's Album Review for The Stone Roses

The Resurrection of Music
The Stone Roses debut album has to be not only one of the best but one of the most refreshing albums ever released. With strong influences from the past and a keen eye for the future the band created not only music but also an identity and a style all of their own. Perhaps never again will such a profound mixture of talents blend so well in our time. Songs to look out for on the album include (without understating the others) She Bangs, Waterfall, Sugar Spun, Resurrection and the bands greatest accomplishment - Fools Gold. Timeless is often a word associated with music, but in this case there is no better description of the sound of the Stone Roses.
