Catchy summer tune!!

This is a very memorable summer song that I always remembered the name but never the group!! LOL!! Needless to say I think this is one of the best oldie-but-goodie-old-skool songs around. I guess that I am telling my age too!! Ha Ha!! I actually looked it up on this site to find out who the artist was becasue I had the song on a mixed CD but I didn't know who it was and it was killin' me!! Thanks you guys for clearifying it for me!! :)
