brandi1leigh's Album Review for Flood
""
The ultimate TMBG album.
"Flood" is a nearly perfect album. Each track mixes silly with serious. The songs are symbolic masterpieces that work on two levels. Level 1: fun songs that you can sing-a-long with. Level 2: complex and symbolic commentaries on the world.
The album stands up well to the test of time. The songs sound just as fresh and innovative today as they did in 1990. That's an accomplishment. TMBG has a distinctive sound that ages well. You won't be disappointed by this album. Its mix of humor with rock sensibilities is nearly brilliant.
