Tim Brickley and David Rheins Songwriters
Tim Brickley is an American rock music singer, musician and songwriter. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana Mr. Brickley is the lead singer, musician and songwriter of The Bleeding Hearts which Mr. Brickley describes as a musical collective due to the vast list of musicians that have joined him onstage and on recordings through the years. The Bleeding Hearts have released two albums, Be Apart (1995) and Everything That Ever Was (2005). Mr. Brickley co-writes with NYC-based songwriter/poet David Rheins. Mr. Brickley is a multi-instrumentalist and can play guitar, piano, bass, drums and violin. He has performed on stage with The Beach Boys, Delbert McClinton, Warren Zevon, Aimee Mann and Medeski, Martin & Wood. Mr. Brickley is also a jazz vocalist/bandleader. He performs regularly with his Quintet and 16-piece jazz Big Band, and leads a ten-piece party band, The Happy Millionaires. Apart from playing music, Mr. Brickley also is a producer and engineer. He owns Hit City Recording, located in Broad Ripple in Indy. He has recorded with: *The Zero Boys *Toxic Reasons *Rain Chorus *Rosetta Pebble *Amy Lashley He has also produced and written music for film/television/theatre. In 1998 Mr. Brickley won an Emmy for his score for the television documentary Hoosier Hoops : The Golden Era. Jerry Springer presented him the award.
