Toner Low

Holland's cleverly and appropriately named Toner Low had their low-end sonic explorations inspired by previous purveyors of drone-doom such as Canada's Sons of Otis, Japan's Boris, and America's Earth and Sunn 0))), to name but a few. Originated in the Leiden region, circa 1998, the trio of bassist/vocalist Deef, guitarist Daan, and drummer Jack made their recorded debut in 2002, via a split 7" with local stoner rockers Fal-Tor-Voh, then set to work on their eponymous full-length for Roadkill Rekordz, which finally saw the light of day in 2005. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
