Taking their name from the Spanish words meaning “with life and spirit," Trio Con Brio more than live up to the appellation. Comprised of three highly talented musicians – Elisabeth Deinhard on flute, Andrea Forderreuther on guitar and Caroline Kriegbaum on viola – Trio Con Brio resurrects the glory of eighteenth and nineteenth century Spanish composers while extending the tradition with new pieces by Sergio Assad, Leo Brouwer and Egberto Gismonti.
