Turning Curious

Turning Curious, a mid-1980s Champaign, Illinois indie pop band, started off as the B-Lovers and were vocalist Nick Rudd's first band. Mitch Easter produced the 1983 album Soul Light Season. Rudd went onto star in such power-pop outfits as the Arms of Someone New, Big Maybe and Blown, with Turning Curious' Steve Scariano, who himself went onto play with Prisonshake. Drummer Jeff Evans joined Rudd in Blown and went onto play with Signalmen. ~ Ron DePasquale, All Music Guide
