Turning Curious, a mid-1980s Champaign, Illinois indie pop band, started off as the B-Lovers and were vocalist Nick Rudd's first band. Mitch Easter produced the 1983 album Soul Light Season. Rudd went onto star in such power-pop outfits as the Arms of Someone New, Big Maybe and Blown, with Turning Curious' Steve Scariano, who himself went onto play with Prisonshake.
