limbodrive's Artist Review for Twisted Sister
""
cross-dressed band with hair and make-up, rebelious hard rock, American band that gained ground first in Britain
I first saw these guys on MTV with We're Not Gonna Take It and decided to buy the Stay Hungry album. I wasn't aware of the Ruff Cutts album until visiting this site. I have the four other albums and thought I was caught up until visiting this page. I presumed these guys insane until I heard Dee explaining on his radio program about his reality show opportunity falling through. He is so normal in his personal life that the producers passed on him. Hilarious I say. This is a very diverse band when you examine them up close. They do look one dimensional at first glance. There is a slight punk sound coming through. Under the Blade was the least favorite album. I actually really enjoy Love is for Suckers. Rock on guys!

A great album from a great, albeit short-lived, band. The music filled your senses and made you live. Plus the message of "We're Not Going to Take It" are revolutionary and still pertinent for today!
