The 1992 formation of Ventral gave London another three-piece of noisy, distorted indie punk. Consisting of Matt (guitar/vocals), Simon (bass), and Neville (drums), the comparisons of Therapy and the Levellers came about as Ventral appeared on a number of compilations and the self-released 1994 EP Sloth.
