Zoomer

Louisiana native Zoomer took his cue from edgy, glammed-up '70s artists like Lou Reed, T. Rex, and Eno-era Roxy Music, albeit with a far less experimental bent. The guitarist/vocalist and his backing band -- bassist/producer Jo-Jo Starr, keyboardist/saxophonist John Lovedog, and drummer Max Trash -- released their debut album, Maximum Plastic, in 1997. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
