Hello there, I have been moderated for a comment I made on someone's blog post. Here is a link to the moderation detail LINK. And a link to the BLOG ENTRY.
The blog entry had information on the upcoming GTAIV, the user in question outlined the multiplayer details that had recently come to light and posted THIS IMAGE. Which he claimed he had written after reading the preview in the magazine.
He was fibbing as the exact same info is on gtaIV.net, a GTA fansite. I brought this to light in my original comment which read:
"Finally some details. But dude....you didn't write that. It can be found at gta4.net
"(the link above contains the original table of information which the user had simply print screened before making his blog post.)
As you can see the post was not said in a negative fashion, it was not created to antagonise anyone, nor was it spam, nor was it advertising. In the same way a poster might link to Kotaku for a news story, I was linking to the original source of the blog's information, which had been incorrectly cited.
Interestingly this is the second time this has happened. After receiving a warning by Gamespot I asked mods there and they indeed told me I had been moderated abusively by the blog owner. So I decided to repost my comment. Only this time I get a warning from MP3.com and the message is once again deleted. (and since I have reposted)
My question really is, is a mod deleting the post and issuing me with a warning or is the user? I didn't think users could decide what is and what is not a TOU violation and issue warnings to people. And why has the warning come from here?

It looks like the moderation systems got crossed between GameSpot and Mp3.com for this report; I'm not sure why it came through the MP3.com system. In any case, the original item relates to GameSpot activities -- you should contact the mods there for further clarification.You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
