I didn't know they Cancelled "The Batman" animated series.

Anyone know just why they cancelled The Batman? I was looking for the season premiere and just to find out that they ended this animated series. Whats going on here. DCAU has not one show on TV right now. They even stop showing Superman:The Animated Series, Batman:The Animated Series, and i really don't know if they stopped showing Justice league Unlimited on Boom. The thing is, since I can remember, they have always had some kind of DCAU on TV and now I don't see any. Even Marvel got "The spatacular Spiderman" on the CW. So anyone know just what happen? I mean they cancelled it right when the JLA was being introduced in different episodes. What happen???

I'm not sure why they cancelled it NYC. I thought they would try to make a new Justice league show from that, but I guess they didn't want to.

They're doing a new show called "The Brave and the Bold." That was the title of a DC comic from like the 70's. It was a Batman Team-Up book. And that's what the show will be, Batman teaming up with other random DC heroes. Or at least that was the plan, I haven't heard anything on it in a while.

This is very sad. I hope they bring it back or start a new Justice League show.

Yes I know about that comic series back in the 70's. Thanks for the info guys. Its just sad to see that there are noe, no DCAU shows on the tube right now.

Just looked it up, and B&B is supposed to start in Nov, on Cartoon Network. Yeah, I miss DC cartoons too. I was in a Conan mood the other day, and was watching the JLU episodes "Crisis at Earth's Core" because it's barbarians and everything. And I just couldn't help going on about how great the animation and writing was. Whoever canceled that show was an idiot.

I didn't think it was that great of a show but it kind of sucks that it was canceled.

Tracking animated shows seems to be getting more difficult.

Theyre adding the brave and the bold feat. batman soon, but its for preschoolers, it seems. I dunno why it was cancelled exactly, but its too bad. It started getting good in season 4, then went a little down in season 5, but it still became a good show.
