On a 54-date North American trek, 14-year-old singer-actress will perform one set as herself and one as her TV character.
On the heels of her two-disc album of both her own songs and those of her TV alter ego, Miley Cyrus is set to perform live sets as both herself and Hannah Montana on a 54-date North American fall tour.
The 14-year-old singer-actress, daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, unveiled her "Best of Both Worlds" arena tour today, hoping to continue her hot streak following the success of Disney's Hanna Montana show.
The 54-date North American trek launches October 18 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis and wraps January 9, 2008 at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY. Tickets go on sale August 18, with prices ranging from $26 to $66. One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to biomedical research and treatment center City of Hope.
The tour will support Cyrus' double album Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus, which has sold 929,000 copies in the US since its June 26 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Hannah/Miley album is a two-disc, 20-song set evenly divided between music from Cyrus' TV series and her debut studio album.
New Jersey trio Jonas Brothers will serve as opening act.
