Saying she needs time "to address her health," label postpones string of 10 dates with Paolo Nutini.
Whether or not she said yes or "No, No, No" to rehab, Amy Winehouse won't be showing up for her US tour in September.
The UK songstress, who has been the subject of heated speculation in recent weeks about a possible drug overdose and subsequent stint in rehab, has canceled her 10-date US tour with fellow Brit Paolo Nutini, according to her label.
"Due to the rigors involved in touring, Amy Winehouse has been advised to postpone her upcoming September US and Canadian tour dates," Universal Republic said in a statement. Amy's European and UK tour dates in October and November remain in place. Plans are being made to reschedule her US tour for early 2008. Until then, Amy has been ordered to rest and is working with medical professionals to address her health."
Ticketholders for the US shows can obtain refunds at the point of purchase. Nutini's label reps had no word yet on whether or not Nutini will tour the US alone and whether or not he will play the same venues and dates.
