Sam Genders and Mike Lindsay of London-based folktronica group discuss their latest album, Good Arrows, music categories, and ignoring their bank statements.

Folktronica, freak folk, junk folk--whatever you call it, this Tunng is certainly not tied.

The London-based sextet mixes organic and electronic sounds into a hearty sonic stew, and has been generating loads of buzz recently, largely driven by the song "Bullets" and its intergalactic music video, which centers around a planetary pile of junk that wanders the galaxy.

Prior to a recent performance at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, band co-founders Sam Genders and Mike Lindsay sat down with MP3.com talk about their latest album, Good Arrows, the "Bullets" video, the categorization of their sound, and ignoring the bank statements.
