One of the most consistent artists working today, Houston rapper/singer Devin The Dude has been charming listeners since 1994, when he debuted as a member of the Odd Squad, with their cult classic Fadanuff 4 Erybody!! on Rap-A-Lot Records. After that, he worked with Scarface and joined his crew Facemob, shining again on the 1996 album The Other Side of the Law. His solo career jumped off two years later, with the release of The Dude.

Since then, he's been an in-demand collaborator, working with hip-hop legends like Dr. Dre, UGK, De La Soul, and Too Short. He also dropped several more quality full-lengths; Jus Tryin To Live, To Tha X-Treme, and earlier this year, his most commercially successful LP to date, Waiting To Inhale. In this interview, he talks about wrapping up an extensive U.S. tour, heading out to Amsterdam for the Cannabis Cup, and the upcoming projects from his Coughee Brothaz crew.
