Another day, another report of a former megastar rushed to the hospital.

This time it's Eminem, Britney Spears' one-time chart rival. It seems that Marshall Mathers was rushed to a Detroit-area hospital for a serious heart condition and severe pneumonia over the holidays, according to TMZ.com.

The report also stated that Eminem, 35, has ballooned to more than 200 pounds.

But in an interview with Pollstar, the rapper's publicist, Dennis Dennehy, confirmed the hospitalization but denied the rest of the reports.

"Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia," Dennehy said. "He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home. Despite reports to the contrary, Eminem is not suffering from any heart problems."

Eminem has largely been off the radar since the release of his Shady Records official mixtape, The Re-Up, in December of 2006. Dr. Dre is said to be working on an Eminem album for release this year, but Eminem downplayed the possibility when he called in to Angie Martinez's afternoon show on New York's Hot 97 in September.
