The Game might want to call Busta Rhymes' lawyer the next time he's in some legal hot water.

The LA rapper has been sentenced to 60 days in a Los Angeles prison after pleading no contest yesterday to felony gun charges stemming from a February 2007 incident in which the rapper allegedly pulled a firearm in a school zone.

The no-contest plea allowed the rapper--real name Jayceon Taylor--to avoid sentencing for two other counts: making a criminal threat and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer. The sentence also includes three years of probation and 150 hours of community service.

The charges stemmed from an incident in which the rapper is alleged to have pulled a gun on a man in a dispute during a pickup basketball game at a park in LA that was located within a school zone. The rapper was arrested in May 2007.

The Game recently told Monsta magazine that he would cop a plea deal to avoid a lengthy, expensive trial.

"The crazy part about this is that I've had guns before in my life," Game told the mag. "But this time, I didn't have a gun. And because one person said I had a gun and coaxed his homies into saying that I had a gun, I'm in a predicament where I'm asking, 'Do I want to spend another million dollars to fight this trial, so who knows what jury's gonna come in and say I'm guilty? Or do I want to save my money, go sit down for four months and accept this felony they're trying to give me for no reason?'"

The sentencing stands in stark contrast to that of Busta Rhymes, who faced a litany of assault charges from multiple incidents, as well as several driving-related infractions, but still managed to avoid serving any jail time.
