Wallflowers frontman's Seeing Things, produced by Rick Rubin, will hit stores May 13.
One of the most famous offspring in rock is set to make his solo debut.
Wallflowers frontman Jakob Dylan, son of the iconic Bob Dylan, unveiled details of his solo album this week. Dylan's debut, Seeing Things, is a mostly acoustic affair and will hit stores May 13 on Columbia Records and also via Starbucks.
The album was produced by Columbia executive chairman Rick Rubin, who wielded his magic on Grammy-winning albums for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dixie Chicks in 2007. The album was produced at Rubin's home in the Hollywood hills throughout 2007.
Dylan will tour in support of the album, with live sets at Bonnaroo and the new Rothbury Festival already lined up.
