Songs from Mercy (Dancing for the Death of an Imaginary Enemy)
As no less a philosopher than Joe Elliott has opined, "Love bites."
It also bleeds.
Jimmy Gnecco knows this all too well, as is evident on the emotional, moody music he has crafted over the past 14 years as the frontman for alt-rock act Ours.
The band's latest release, Mercy (Dancing for the Death of an Imaginary Enemy), hits stores on Tuesday. The album is the band's first since it moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles to work with superproducer Rick Rubin, whose guiding hand has turned many a record into sonic gold.
Gnecco stopped by our MP3.com studios for a set that included the new songs "Willing" and "The Worst Things Beautiful."
