In first action from her $120M Live Nation deal, pop icon will take latest chart-topping album, Hard Candy, on the road.
For her 2006 blockbuster "Confessions" tour, Madonna used such props as a disco ball-esque crucifix and a mechanical bull-style stripper pole.
One can only imagine what the Queen of Pop will come up with for her forthcoming "Sticky and Sweet" tour, details of which were unveiled today.
The tour, in support of her chart-topping new album, Hard Candy, is the first action stemming from the singer's innovative, $120 million deal with concert-promotion giant Live Nation.
The world tour will span the UK, Europe, North America, and several markets in South America. The North American dates unveiled today are set to conclude Nov. 26 at Dolphin Stadium in Miami.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning May 17, and there will be a four-ticket limit per person for arena performances and a six-ticket limit for stadium events. Members of Maddy's official fan club will get the first shot at tickets starting on May 12, and Citi card members will have access beginning on May 13.
