Episode Four
This week, we chop it up with Rhymesayers emcee extraordinaire Brother Ali, who is about to release his highly anticipated new album The Undisputed Truth. In this exclusive interview, shot at our SXSW compound in Texas, Ali speaks candidly about the personal nature of his music, the artists who have influenced him over the years, and the importance of a strong stage show.
We also head out to San Francisco club Mezzanine, to watch a live set from crack rap icons and critical favorites Clipse, who perform the track "Keys Open Doors" off their latest LP Hell Hath No Fury.
Last but not least, we take it back to 1992, with the undeniably classic debut video from Black Moon, "Who Got Da Props." This was their first single, and is also featured on the timeless album Enta Da Stage. Fifteen years later, Black Moon and the entire Boot Camp Clik are still going strong, still making good records and touring the world.
Enjoy!
