Lollapalooza unveils 2007 lineup

Three-day festival, set for August 3-5 in Chicago's Grant Park, will feature Pearl Jam, Daft Punk, Ben Harper, Muse, and nearly 130 other bands.

Pearl Jam fans in the US have one chance to see the veteran rockers in 2007, and it will be at Lollapalooza, the huge summer music fest that unveiled its lineup today.

The three-day festival, set for August 3-5 in Chicago's Grant Park, will also feature Parisian electronic duo Daft Punk, British prog rock band Muse, and Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals.

The massive lineup--130 bands are set to play over the course of the event's three days--also includes Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell's Satellite Party, Modest Mouse, The Roots, Snow Patrol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, My Morning Jacket, Interpol, Iggy & the Stooges, Patti Smith, Amy Winehouse, Yo La Tengo, Kings of Leon, and the Hold Steady.

Blonde Redhead, Polyphonic Spree, Cold War Kids, The Black Keys, Regina Spektor, Spoon, Lupe Fiasco, Pete Yorn, G. Love & Special Sauce, Paolo Nutini, LCD Soundsystem, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Silverchair, Femi Kuti, Jack's Mannequin, Stephen Marley, Sound Tribe Sector 9, M.I.A., Slightly Stoopid, Sparklehorse, Sean Lennon, !!!, Blue October, Son Volt, Motion City Soundtrack, Peter Bjorn & John, Silversun Pickups, CSS, the Rapture, the Wailers, Roky Erickson, Tapes n Tapes, Heartless Bastards, the View, the Cribs, the Fratellis, Ghostland Observatory, Tokyo Police Club, Rhymefest, Soulive, Annuals, Fields, Electric Six, Jim Noir, Elvis Perkins in Dearland, Sam Roberts Band, Black Angels, Charlie Musselwhite, Aqueduct, Juliette & the Licks, Dios, Viva Voce, David Vandervelde, Los Campesinos!, Chin Up Chin Up, Ryan Shaw, Colour Revolt, Satin Peaches, Illinois, Arckid, Mickey Avalon, the 1900s, Bang Bang Bang, Bound Stems, High Class Elite, Carey Ott, and Matt Roan round out the bill.

Early-bird Lollapalooza tickets are on sale now at Lollapalooza.com for $165. Once early-bird passes run out, three-day passes will cost $195.
