Stripes nab Cold War Kids for tour

The Whites will be joined by indie faves from Fullerton, Calif., for 15 dates in the fall.

Following its current European run, Bonnaroo, and a lengthy trek through Canada, the White Stripes will get a booster shot for their Icky Thump from the Cold War Kids.

The much-acclaimed Fullerton, Calif.-based quartet is set to join Jack and Meg White for 15 dates in September and October.

The White Stripes are in the midst of a swing through Europe in support of their forthcoming album, Icky Thump, which hits stores June 19.
