Iggy and the Stooges, Muse, the Shins, Cypress Hill, QOTSA, and Public Enemy also on the docket for Oct. 27-28 fest.

Rage Against the Machine and Daft Punk--the headliners for this year's Coachella and Lollapalooza festivals, respectively--have been tapped to headline the annual Vegoose festival, set for Oct. 27-28 in Las Vegas.

The event, set for Sam Boyd Stadium and a surrounding 30-acre complex, will be yet another chance for Rage fans to catch the recently reunited group, which is also co-headlining the Rock the Bells tour. French house act Daft Punk will headline next month's Lollapalooza, and its set at the 2006 edition of Coachella has drawn rave reviews and spawned a bevy of YouTube videos.

The rest of the Vegoose lineup is equally stacked. It includes Muse, the Shins, Cypress Hill, QOTSA, Public Enemy, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Umphrey's McGee, Thievery Corporation, STS9, Ghostface Killah & The Rhythm Roots Allstars, Blonde Redhead, Gogol Bordello, UNKLE, Ghostland Observatory, Pharoahe Monch, and Battles, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition, Iggy and the Stooges are set to perform their classic 1970 album Fun House in its entirety.

The festival traditionally features a slew of nighttime shows at other venues, and this year will include Thievery Corporation, Umphrey's McGee, and STS9 at the House of Blues on separate nights, as well as Michael Franti & Spearhead and The Shins on separate nights at the Joint Hard Rock.

Tickets for Vegoose go on sale July 28 through the event's Web site.
