can i start this? it's related to music, right? i just want to know if you enjoy musicals for the music or for the actual film, and what musicals you like...
my personal favorites are The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the Blues Brothers cos they have everything, and Frank N Furter is .... hot as. Plus the music in both rocks. but i also like those because of the stories in them, they're not just music they're aliens and motorbikes and sex and car chases and cops and all that. but some musicals dont' have a real good plot...i dunno. what do you think?

I reckon both play a part in making the whole experience enjoyable. Without the music, Rocky Horror Picture Show would have just been weird and awkward. It was a great musical. I reckon it helps build the plot in the Blues Brothers movies, and without the music it probably would not have been such a roller coaster of a ride. I also don't mind Grease. It was a classic.
i've never fully seen grease. only 10 minutes or so, every year when it comes on television. only songs i've heard from that one are that one the girl sings about sandra d or something, the one where two people are singing and one hwere they're fixing a car or something. i don't know. i found it boring and stupid and the songs were annoying...plus there basically was no plot. maybe i need to watch it more.....
