"Street Spirit (Fade Out)" by Radiohead. I read a comment on You Tube for a video of this song that said, "I think every time someone hears this song, their heart breaks a little," and it couldn't be more true. Almost everybody who's heard it has been brought to tears by it.

Damn straight. I forgot about "Let Down", that's a pretty damn emotional song too.

REM's "Everybody Hurts" chokes me up a little sometimes.
Songs that sound contrived, like they're trying to "be commercial", make me vomit into the back of my throat a little.
Which is sadder? Probably the latter...
