    1. Desperate for correct titles and artists of 5 songs - late 80s | 11/22/2006 5:17pm
I am going crazy trying to find the correct titles and artists of songs that I have on a cassette tape from 1989. I found all of them except five. I think they are soul or r&b. Some of them might be from the same artist. I have been searching for weeks, but have not found any information about the songs. I am beginning to think I am crazy and they don't really exist. I've listed below what I thought were the titles of the songs and some of the lyrics for each one. Any help is greatly appreciated. 1. Everything I Missed at Home - female singer with male background. "You give me attention?… you're someone who understands my needs… everything I missed at home. You know how to love me, and do all the things I want to feel inside … everything I missed at home. I was just out on the town in search of... I wasn't looking for love then you came along and shared with me all the things I missed at home...Oh yes, I do love someone, but I can't pretend to... and taken for granted, I was lonely til you were there for me. You give me attention, you're someone who understands my needs… everything I missed at home. You know how to hold me, and do all the things I want to feel, inside … everything I missed at home." 2. Keep it Inside - female and male singer. I thought it was Rainy Davis, but I can't find any information on the song. Female vocal: "I never knew how hard it would be livin' without you...It's all over and I can't keep it inside, keep it inside. Tears are falling from my eyes and I can't keep it inside, keep it inside. Male vocal: "Been? hurt so many times and kept it all inside myself, thought this would be the same, but now I'm feeling something else." Female vocal: "My friends tell me I'll get over you, but I still... I thought this day would never come and now...It's all over and I can't keep it inside, keep it inside. Tears are falling from my eyes and I can't keep it inside, keep it inside. Male vocal: "Baby, I'm a man of pride, but this time I can't keep the pain inside". Female: "Oh I just can't deny the ... so I guess I'll keep crying til I run fresh out of tears". 3. Another Sleepless Weekend - male singer. "...dancin' and romancin' all night long. Oh no, not another sleepless weekend… Playing games ain't for me tonight. I just want your love girl right here next to me. Makin' believe you don't want me for your lover, but you won't ever find another like me. You like to party hard and long when the weekend comes you and I can have a party, girl, right at home. Just give me time, some time, I'll blow your mind cause we'll be dancin' and romancin' all night long... You know that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and Friday I'm tired, but when the weekend comes you know that I'm ready to go. Give me time, some time, I'll blow your mind, give me time, make up your mind. Oh no, not another sleepless weekend..." 4. Don't Take This Out on Me - male singer with male background. "I know about the problem you've been havin' trying to find a man that's worth your time. You have been doped(?) around … if you don't want to give me a try. But how can I show I'm different? I'm not like those other guys. If you don't give me half a chance. So, give me an application, after the initial interview, I'm sure you'll find I'm qualified. How can you just assume that girl... don't you ever have no doubts, and I can do this night and day. Oh I want to say, just because they're wrong, don't take this out on me. I never did you no harm...You still can't give me any reason why I should be denied..." 5. Love Education - male singer. "Education, love education. You are in my dreams, all day it seems, I'm longing for you baby. The magic way you touch makes my feelings fly just as high as the sky. Every time we kiss, deep down in my soul I feel a new twist, but you been up on the town, and I've got the strangest feeling this girl has been messin' around, messin' around on me. Education, love education..., you need a love education. There's no need to cry, your tears are lies, I'm fed up with it baby. I'll just take my time then I will decide. For so very very long, I have trusted you with my whole life, but now I feel so strong, I'll keep myself together and carry on. you might as well confess, I've got the strangest feeling that you have been messin' around. Education, love education. Girl you need, girl you need, education, love education. Hey baby, you look so worn out when you get home everyday, and when I call your job they say you just didn't make it in and every day you tell me I'm the only one. Well my school days are over, it's time for your love education" Thanks, Tee

    Hey,

"Another Sleepless Weekend" is sung by Howard Huntsberry. He was the former lead singer from 1981-85, for an R & B group called Klique. It was a good R & B tune, that is/was under rated.

    Take care.
