So what's your favorite effect for the kind of sound described in the subject line?
I've been looking for a really "wet" sounding envelope or autowah ("wet" as in "of or like liquid", as opposed to "heavily effected").
I have a Moogerfooger MF101 that's REALLY versatile but not what I'm talking about here. I have a Dr.Q with loads of character...but a more dry, brushy, mechanical sound than what I'm referring to. My old Bob Moog-designed Maestro Stage Phaser has that wet sound in spades, but it's time-based, rather than attack-sensitive, and I use it WAY too much.
    Anybody have any suggestions?

    Hi

I'm not so sure about what you're looking for... erm, I could recommend the Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah pedal but it doesn't have the "auto wah" feature...

I have one and it could melt your face even in a "clean" setting. It's also very versatile!

Another point would be to look at your guitar... what guitar do you use?

The main axe I'd be using it with would probably be my '72 Guild S100 Deluxe (big slab of mahogany with nicely-aged humbuckers, a Bigsby, and a transition-era Fender single coil stuck in the middle with it's own output jack), but I'd be just as likely to use the effect with my keyboards, basses, other guitars...

    Ok, I see.

Well I use a ESP F400 with EMG 81s so there's quite a lot of difference!

What music style do you tend to play? ... Sorry stupid question! Yeah, I see what you're looking for. Still have a look at the Weeping demon then but... I have hardly any knowledge on keyboards a part from playing piano a bit.

Sorry I couldn't help you more!
