I have: Epiphone Les Paul Custom - sunburst, fun for lead guitar
Fender Telecaster - maroon - nice wide neck, good for everything
Epiphone Sheraton II - nice bluesy feel
Electric Traveler - great for traveling
Fender Acoustic - dont remember which model cause a friend has it now. One of the best acoustics I have ever owned.
A few other cheapo acoustics.
'86 Ovation Ultra
early '80s Washburn D12
'72 Guild S100 Deluxe (the "Deluxe" means it's factory-equipped with a Bigsby) with a Fender single coil stuck between the stock humbuckers. The single coil is run to its own output in what was the phase switch hole (I taped it into the out-of-phase position and just dropped it into the cavity).
a transition-era Strat (the source of the aforementioned pickup) with an EMG SA in the bridge position.
a Domino copy of the Vox Phantom with a '64 or '65 Gibson minibucker from a Firebird in the bridge position, set up for lap slide
an old Harmony Rocket with a cheapo single coil in the bridge position in the "reverse Strat" angle, Nashville strung
I have a couple of fenders but like yourself i have an early 80's Epiphone Sheraton II and it is my favourite. When you pick it up it just feels so right, the neck fits the hand like a glove and as for those 2 humbuckers!!! It's a real 'player's guitar'
