That group joins a previously announced lineup that includes Timbaland, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Chris Brown, Amy Winehouse, Foo Fighters, and Rihanna. In addition, Timbaland will put his match-making skills to work, serving as the show's "maestro" and overseeing a number of collaborations.

Timbaland is also set to cohost the event's Fantasy Suite party with Justin Timberlake, and DJ Mark Ronson will man the ones and twos inside the Palms' Pearl Theatre, where he'll be performing with a full horn section, members of Winehouse's Dap-Kings backing band, and several unannounced special guests.

Initially known best as the youngest Hot Boy, Lil Wayne grew up quickly and enjoyed a steady stream of hits in the process. The New Orleans rapper began his long stint with Cash Money as part of the Hot Boys, a popular late-'90s supergroup also comprised of Juvenile, Turk, and B.G. that set the stage for respective solo careers. Gym Class Heroes Gym Class Heroes

Melding elements of rap, rock, R&B, and funk into one cohesive and melodic sound, upstate New York's Gym Class Heroes had diverse appeal based on their impressive musical dexterity. Often touring with indie rock and pop-punk bands, they didn't fit comfortably into one specific genre; the quartet's music was rooted in traditional hip-hop, but...

Common Common

Common (originally Common Sense) was a highly influential figure in rap's underground during the '90s, keeping the sophisticated lyrical technique and flowing syncopations of jazz-rap alive in an era when commercial gangsta rap was threatening to obliterate everything in its path. If Nelly Furtado's nearly impenetrable 2003 sophomore effort, Folklore, proved anything, it was that this modern-day singer/songwriter is smart and ambitious yet doesn't quite have a handle on those very qualities. Electric Circus cost and won Common some fans. It was very exploratory, especially so for a rap album released in 2002, containing developments -- some of which soared, some of which sank -- that few longtime followers could have foreseen.
