They've been delivering one of the most talked-about live performances of the past year, and now Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are giving fans a chance to experience the Daft Punk live show in the comfort of their own homes.

Daft Punk will release Daft Punk Alive 2007, a live album of their June 14 show at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, an 18,000-capacity sports arena in their hometown of Paris, on November 20 via Capitol. The release will be available as a single disc, as well as a double-disc set, which will include the show's encore and a 50-page book.

A live version of the song "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" will be issued as a single from the live set, and a video, directed by Oliver Gondry, will feature footage shot by fans during an August 9 show at Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY.

The album will not, however, include a DVD that will show off the spectacular multimedia element of the duo's set.

Daft Punk also has a low-budget film called Electroma that has been screening at various US cities in the past month. The film, which builds on the duo's robot motif, will hit stores on DVD in January on Vice.

Electroma is a film? Weird, this whole time I thought it was what their next album was going to be called. But hey, the live album sounds pretty sweet. Pity theres no video of the show though.
