Singer-actress grabs two honors and performs her hit song "GNO--Girls Night Out" at Nickelodeon event in LA.
The Queens of the "tweens" reigned supreme at the Kids Choice Awards Saturday night.
Miley Cyrus, the singer-actress and star of the hit show Hannah Montana, took home awards for both favorite female singer and TV actress. She also thrilled a screaming throng of 10,000 teens and preteens at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion with a performance of her song "GNO--Girls Night Out."
While Cyrus was the night's big winner, Chris Brown and the Jonas Brothers also took home the other top music prizes, for favorite male singer and favorite music group, respectively.
The Naked Brothers Band performed a song from their forthcoming album I Don't Want to Go to School, while American Idol host Ryan Seacrest was on hand to accept the award for favorite reality show.
But it was host Jack Black and the ever-present green slime that dominated the night, as several stars were slimed, including actors Harrison Ford and Orlando Bloom. Singers Akon and Usher each engaged in slime-related challenges, with the latter propelling a man in a sumo wrestler costume across a stage with a slime-shooting hose.
