Grammy Museum set for December launch in LA

The Grammy Museum will open its doors in Los Angeles this coming December.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter)--The Grammy Museum will open its doors in Los Angeles in December with a weeklong celebration of the history of music.

The four-floor, 32,000-square-foot site will feature interactive, permanent, and traveling exhibits and will be housed within L.A. Live, a new downtown sports entertainment and residential district.

The official launch is set for Dec. 6, following several days of festivities, including the Dec. 4 announcement of the nominees for the 2009 awards.
