Full-track downloads from Atlanta rapper's King will be available only on Sprint's mobile download store until its March 28 street date.
Sprint Music Store users who can't wait for the March 28 street date of Atlanta rapper T.I.'s King are in luck.
The wireless provider has teamed up with T.I.'s label Atlantic Records to offer exclusive downloads from King before it hits stores. Sprint launched its music download service last October, allowing customers to download browse, preview, and buy songs from a catalog of more than 320,000 songs via mobile phones using the Sprint Power Vision network.
The T.I. deal will offer users downloads of "What You Know," the first single from King, along with another album track, "Ride Wit Me." It will also include exclusive ringtones and images. In April, Sprint will offer three unreleased non-album tracks, plus instrumental versions of "What You Know" and "Ride Wit Me."
Sprint users with video-enabled phones will also be able to stream full music videos from T.I. and clips from his upcoming movie, ATL, which hits theaters March 31.
