Network teams with Warner Music to stream performances by Sean Paul, T.I., The Veronicas, and Lupe Fiasco from their joint event at wireless event this week in Las Vegas.
In his keynote speech yesterday at the CTIA Wireless even in Las Vegas, MTV Networks exec Van Toffler called the mobile phone "the holy grail of electronic devices" among his network's young adult demographic.
MTV Mobile put those words into action this week, teaming with Warner Music Group to push live performances by dancehall crooner Sean Paul, Atlanta rapper T.I., Aussie pop duo The Veronicas, and Kanye West protégé Lupe Fiasco out to wireless subscribers.
The concerts were recorded at an MTV-WMG joint event earlier in the week at the CTIA conference.
The performances by Sean Paul, The Veronicas, and Lupe Fiasco will be available on MTV Mobile channels from several wireless content services, including Verizon V-Cast, Sprint TV, and Amp'd, for the next two weeks.
The performance by T.I., whose new album King sits atop the US charts this week, will be available exclusively on Sprint for the same time period.
