Six years after a messy departure from Destiny's Child, LeToya Luckett's LeToya zooms straight to No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, where it debuted last week due to street date violations. The Capitol set sold 165,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The single "Torn" has already spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

LeToya knocks last week's No. 1, the multilabel compilation NOW 22, down to No. 2. The latter set fell 27 percent in sales to 151,000. Close behind is the Interscope solo debut from super-producer Pharrell Williams, In My Mind, which shifted 142,000 units. The set was originally due last fall and has been repeatedly pushed back while Williams reworked the material.

Tom Petty's 14th album, Highway Companion, bows at No. 4 with 112,000 copies, the highest debut of his storied career. It's also his best opening sales week since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991 and his highest-charting release since Full Moon Fever peaked at No. 3 in 1989.

Elsewhere in the top 10, Gnarls Barkley's St. Elsewhere (Downtown/Atlantic) drops 4-5 despite a slight sales increase to 54,000. Disney's High School Musical soundtrack falls 5-6 on a 10 percent decline to 47,000, while Rihanna's A Girl Like Me (Def Jam) inches up 8-7 with 46,000 (+1.5 percent). That album switches places with Nelly Furtado's formerly chart-topping Loose (Geffen), which shifted 45,000 (-6 percent).

The Pussycat Dolls' PCD (Interscope) is still hanging around in the top 10 after 46 weeks on the chart, rising 10-9 this week with 44,000 (-12.6 percent). Rascal Flatts' Me and My Gang (Lyric Street/Hollywood) drops 6-10, having sold about 500 copies less than PCD.

Rap outfit Jurassic 5 opens at No. 15 with Feedback (Interscope), which sold 34,000 copies. First single "Work It Out," featuring Dave Matthews Band, is enjoying airplay on a handful of major stations, including WXPN Philadelphia, XTRA San Diego, and KLLC San Francisco.

Also debuting this week on the The Billboard 200 are country singer Jake Owen's RCA debut album, Startin' With Me (No. 31; 23,000 units) and rock veteran Sammy Hagar's Livin' It Up (No. 50; 16,000). The Rhino set is Hagar's highest-charting album since 1999's Red Voodoo.

Flogging Molly's live CD/DVD Whiskey on a Sunday (Side One Dummy) arrived at No. 67 (14,000), followed by the Razor & Tie rock compilation Buzz Ballads (No. 77; 12,000), Trae's Rap-A-Lot set Restless (No. 87; 10,000), Gym Class Heroes' Decaydence/Fueled by Ramen album As Cruel As School Children (No. 93; 9,000), Michael Franti and Spearhead's first Billboard 200 chart entry with Anti-/Epitaph's Yell Fire! (No. 125; 7,000), and the return of the New York Dolls with the Roadrunner set Someday It Will Please Us To Remember Even This (No. 129; 7,000).
