"SexyBack" singer looks to extend his ubiquity with a 34-date North American arena tour with Pink in tow.
Justin Timberlake is looking to traverse into the hallowed ground of Yes and Def Leppard by touring "in the round" in 2007.
The pop singer, whose single "SexyBack" propelled his sophomore album FutureSex/LoveSounds to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, unveiled a 34-date North American tour, looking to give fans a chance to see him from all sides by doing so "in the round."
The tour will kick off January 8 at the iPayOne Center in San Diego and wrap up March 29 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Timberlake, who will perform with a 14-piece band on the trek, has snared the services of Pink as opening act.
"I've been rehearsing the band, getting the show ready and tight," Timberlake said in a video statement. "What--and I might even show up. So that's pretty exciting. No, seriously, come out. I'll see you guys there."
Timberlake has everywhere in recent weeks, as "SexyBack" continues to dominate the Billboard 100 singles chart, "My Love" featuring T.I. is the chart's greatest airpplay gainer, and Timberlake has signed on to perform at the Victoria's Secret annual fashion show December 5 at Los Angeles' Kodak Theater.
