After front man Tom Chaplin's rehab stint forced Brit-poppers to cancel its fall US tour, band unveils five West Coast shows in January.
Tom Chaplin is out of rehab and ready to...pop.
The Keane front man, whose rehab stint earlier this year forced the Britpop band to cancel its fall US tour, says he's excited to hit the road, and today Keane unveiled a string of five West Coast shows in late January.
The band will kick off the run at the Wiltern in Los Angeles and conclude it at the Orpheum in Vancouver, BC.
"It'll be great to get back out to America and Canada," Chaplin said in a statement. "We were all really disappointed to miss out on the big tour in September, so it's genuinely exciting to be going out again. It's long overdue and we're really looking forward to it."
Details about tickets sales are available on the band's Web site. The band said it expects to announce more US dates soon. The band has a nine-show UK run scheduled for late February.
The Keane tour dates:
1/26 - Los Angeles - The Wiltern
1/27 - Berkeley, California - Berkeley Community Theater
1/29 - Portland, Oregan - Roseland
1/30 - Seattle - Paramount
1/31 - Vancouver - Orpheum
