The Flaming Lips are looking for a few good furries.

The veteran indie rockers, whose stage sets often include people in furry costumes, have set up a contest through YouTube to find some fans to join them on stage during their New Year's Eve show with Gnarls Barkley at the University of Southern California Galen Center in Los Angeles.

The contest calls for fans to upload three-minute videos of themselves dancing to a Lips song. The band has set up a YouTube group page for the contest, with winners getting two free tickets to the show and onstage space along with the band's usual assortment of people clad in furry costumes. Lately, the band's live sets have featured Santas and aliens representing Christianity and Scientology.

The band, which had an alley in Oklahoma City named after them last week, will personally be picking the winner.
