The Kinks - Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire) (1969)

“I wonder why they never got as famous as the Beatles, or half as famous as the Beatles.”

Slayer - Reign in Blood (1985)

“Neither of us really got into [Reign in Blood] until maybe two years ago…it’s perfect now.”

Weezer - Pinkerton (1996)

“I hated that album when I first heard it…it took me a couple times then I liked it way better.”

Jay-Z - The Blueprint (2001)

“I was listening to tons of this when we were recording our last record…I thought it was really inspiring.”

Ghostface Killah - The Pretty Toney Album (2004)

“This one has pop songs and more memorable choruses then his other records…it seemed a little bit more poppy in a lot of ways.”
