After stints in Japan and Australia, goth-inspired Arkansas rock band sets second leg of US jaunt.
Almost to the day since the September 2006 release of their sophomore album, Evanescence has been on the road.
The goth-inspired Arkansas hard rock band embarked on lengthy tours of North America and Europe last year and is now headed to Japan and Australia. This week the band unveiled a second leg of US tour dates that will kick off March 16 in Fresno, California, following a short break after the Aussie shows.
The jaunt will include 14 dates, concluding April 5 in Glen Falls, New York. Evanescence also said that a third US leg will follow. The band is touring in support of The Open Door, which has sold nearly 1.5 million copies since its release in late September.
Joining Evanescence for this upcoming run of arenas will be Chevelle and labelmates Finger Eleven.
