Damon Albarn-led supergroup unveils a short North American tour, with more dates, including a stop at Coachella, to follow.
Damon Albarn is ready to unveil his latest project to US audiences.
The Blur frontman and Gorillaz mastermind is bringing The Good, The Bad & The Queen, his supergroup with former Clash bassist Paul Simonon, former Verve guitarist Simon Tong, and former Fela Kuti drummer Tony Allen, to the US for a short tour.
The jaunt will kick off March 11 in Toronto and will include stops in New York City, DC, and New Orleans, as well as a March 16 performance during the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.
The band will unveil more dates in the weeks to come and will also play the Coachella Music & Arts Festival April 28. The group's debut, a self-titled album, produced by Gnarls Barkley and Gorillaz producer Danger Mouse, hit stores last week.
