Two of the brightest lights in modern soul are teaming up, with Grammy winner John Legend and Grammy nominee Corinne Bailey Rae joining forces for a spring North American tour.

John Legend

Legend, who won three Grammys, including best new artist, at the 2006 Grammys, is touring in support of his sophomore album, Once Again. He is up for three more Grammys Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Bailey Rae, who released her eponymous debut album to much acclaim in 2006, is up for three of the biggest awards of the night: record of the year, song of the year, and best new artist.

The tour will kick off April 3 at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California, and conclude May 4 at the Chastain Park Amphitheater in Atlanta. Legend will play solo on May 5 at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

Legend and Bailey Rae are set to perform together along with John Mayer during the Grammy telecast on CBS Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
