Festival lineup, set for release tomorrow, leaks on Web site; Widespread Panic, Ben Harper, Flaming Lips, Wilco, Manu Chao, Franz Ferdinand, Ween, and The Roots also set to perform.
Looking to keep its 2007 lineup announcement secret until an announcement tomorrow, Bonnaroo slipped up, and the Interweb pounced.
The full list of performers, mistakenly posted to the Bonnaroo Web site briefly today, is as star-studded a lineup as the Tennessee festival has ever boasted.
In addition to the reunited Police, whose inclusion was announced yesterday, Bonnaroo will also feature performances from Tool, the White Stripes, Widespread Panic, Ben Harper, Flaming Lips, Wilco, Manu Chao, Franz Ferdinand, Ween, and The Roots.
Sticking to the festival's roots, jam bands will be fully present, as String Cheese Incident, Bob Weir & Ratdog, Gov't Mule, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Keller Williams, Hot Tuna, STS9, Galactic, North Mississippi Allstars, and the Slip are on the bill.
But the four-day event, held June 14-17 in Manchester, Tenn., will also highlight plenty of other genres. The lineup includes Damien Rice, Dierks Bentley, Kings Of Leon, the Black Keys, Wolfmother, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, Decemberists, Lily Allen, Spoon, the Hold Steady, Feist, Paolo Nutini, Tortoise, Cold War Kids, the National, Annuals, Apollo Sunshine, DJ Shadow, Sasha & Digweed, Hot Chip, Girl Talk, Regina Spektor, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Fountains Of Wayne, Ralph Stanley, Richard Thompson, Mavis Staples, T-Bone Burnett, Brazilian Girls, the Nightwatchman, and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
Tickets go on sale Friday at noon E.T. via Bonnaroo.com.
