T.I.T.S.

T.I.T.S., birthed from the womb of San Francisco's experimental music scene, has rightfully taken their place as the queens of metal. These four powerfully creative women have reached through time, snatching rotting flesh from the corpses of patriarchal heaviness to create their golem--their own patchwork beast of doom. Anchored black-metal bass lines and murderous percussion provide a framework for metallic riffage, synapse-jumping blast notes, and pagan vocal chanting.

T.I.T.S. is Kim West (Crack: WAR, Death Sentence: Panda!), Abbey Kerins (Verbalala, Death & Dying), Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough (MeowMeow and the MeowMeows), and Wendy Farina (Towel, Condor, Amber Asylum). The group's live shows are frightening. That's not because of the unrelenting beating that the audiences' eardrums are forced to endure; rather, it's because these four women become possessed, staring emotionless beyond the crowd into whatever abyss their music is siphoned from.
