Lollapalooza unveils 2007 lineup
Three-day festival, set for August 3-5 in Chicago's Grant Park, will feature Pearl Jam, Daft Punk, Ben Harper, Muse, and nearly 130 other bands.
Pearl Jam fans in the US have one chance to see the veteran rockers in 2007, and it will be at Lollapalooza, the huge summer music fest that unveiled its lineup today.
The three-day festival, set for August 3-5 in Chicago's Grant Park, will also feature Parisian electronic duo Daft Punk, British prog rock band Muse, and Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals.
The massive lineup--130 bands are set to play over the course of the event's three days--also includes Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell's Satellite Party, Modest Mouse, The Roots, Snow Patrol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, My Morning Jacket, Interpol, Iggy & the Stooges, Patti Smith, Amy Winehouse, Yo La Tengo, Kings of Leon, and the Hold Steady.
Blonde Redhead, Polyphonic Spree, Cold War Kids, The Black Keys, Regina Spektor, Spoon, Lupe Fiasco, Pete Yorn, G. Early-bird Lollapalooza tickets are on sale now at Lollapalooza.com for $165. Once early-bird passes run out, three-day passes will cost $195.
