San Diego festival, set for Sept. 22-23, will also feature sets from Arctic Monkeys, Social Distortion, Too Short, Ozomatli, and Air--but nary a woman.

Although its location has become a game of musical chairs in recent years, San Diego's annual Street Scene continues to attract star-studded lineups.

The Killers The Killers

The two-day festival, which will take place Sept. 22-23, has landed such rock heavyweights as the Killers, Muse, Panic! At the Disco, Social Distortion, and Arctic Monkeys at the top of its bill.

The lineup also features a diverse cast that includes French electronic duo Air, indie faves Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Latin funk stalwarts Ozomatli, and veteran Bay Area rapper Too Short.

Fair To Midland, Gym Class Heroes, Slightly Stoopid, Mute Math, Spoon, G. Love and Special Sauce, Elvis Perkins, Paolo Nutini, Augustana, Editors, Brand New, the Supersuckers, Infected Mushroom, the Academy Is... and VNV Nation are also on the docket.

But curiously, the lineup doesn't include a single female act, solo or otherwise. Additional acts will be announced via the festival's Web site over the next several weeks.

Two-day passes go on sale June 23 for $120, while VIP packages start at $300. Prices and on-sale dates for single-day tickets have not been announced.

The festival will be held this year for the first time at the Del Mar Fairgrounds north of San Diego. It had been held for the past two years in the parking lot of Qualcomm Stadium following several years in San Diego's downtown Gaslamp Quarter.

More apt to cite stately rock paragons Burt Bacharach and Brian Wilson as their inspirations than Derrick May or Aphex Twin, the French duo Air gained inclusion into the late-'90s electronica surge due chiefly to the labels their recordings appeared on, not the actual music they produced.
