Legendary rockers and pioneering punk band will see beefed-up versions of classic albums released; best-of Zeppelin set also on the way.

For fans of Led Zeppelin and the Sex Pistols who just can't get enough of those legendary bands, help is on the way.

Sex Pistols Sex Pistols

The legendary rock band and the pioneering punk rock outfit will each see a reissue of one of their classic albums this fall, while Atlantic/Rhino will release yet another Zeppelin best-of set.

First up will be a special 30th anniversary edition of the Sex Pistols' classic 1977 debut album, Never Mind the Bollocks ... Here's the Sex Pistols, which will hit stores October 29 on Virgin Records. The set will be available on heavyweight vinyl with a 7-inch insert of the song "Submission," which was excluded from the original release but inserted into the first 50,000 copies as a 7-inch at the band's request.

Virgin also said it will reissue the Pistols' four classic singles: "Anarchy in the UK," "God Save the Queen," "Pretty Vacant," and "Holidays in the Sun" throughout October on 7-inch vinyl.

On November 13, Atlantic/Rhino will release a two-disc, 24-track best-of, Mothership, for which the tracks were selected by surviving members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones. The set will feature tracks from all eight of the band's studio albums, and will be released in both "deluxe" and "collector's" editions with a DVD featuring varied live content from the previously released "Led Zeppelin DVD."

One week later, the label will reissue the classic soundtrack to the 1976 concert film The Song Remains the Same, with previously unreleased material and a new DVD edition of the movie included is also on the way.

The Song Remains the Same soundtrack will feature six songs not included on the original album: "Black Dog," "Over the Hills and Far Away," "Misty Mountain Hop," "Since I've Been Loving You," "The Ocean," and "Heartbreaker." The album and film were recorded during a July 1973 stand at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin was the definitive heavy metal band. It wasn't just their crushingly loud interpretation of the blues -- it was how they incorporated mythology, mysticism, and a variety of other genres (most notably world music and British folk) -- into their sound. Led Zeppelin had mystique. They rarely gave interviews, since the music press...

The Sex Pistols The Sex Pistols

The Sex Pistols may have only been together for two years in the late '70s, but they changed the face of popular music. Through their raw, nihilistic singles and violent performances, the band revolutionized the idea of what rock & roll could be.
