I tried to download some songs, but when I clicked on their names it just showed a blank gray bar under them. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, DFan is right -- some of the download links are glitched. If you see a gray bar, it means there should be links to third-pary music services where you can buy the download. Some of these links are outdated though, in which case they don't show up when they're supposed to. Once you have registered for an account with MP3.com, you can search for an artist from anywhere on MP3.com with the handy search bar at the top of every page. Once you find the artist's profile, you can click on the "Songs" tab in their profile to see more information. Additionally, many MP3.com artists offer select MP3s for free downloading -- just click on the orange "mp3" button next to the song to download it to your computer. Check out each of the genre door pages, where you will find the most recent downloadable MP3s from our independent artists. If it looks like you're doing everything correctly, and you're still experiencing problems while using Windows, here's something that's helped me: instead of just clicking on the download button, right click and choose "Save Target As".
